The W A K E U P compilation CD is the brain-child of Sonya LaChelle conceived out of a genuine desire for people to live a life that is fulfilling, and to get them to that place, she wanted to go there ( be extreme ).

"I remember watching the numbers during the voting process for Obama and just thinking about the things that have happened in my life..my sons , their fathers', my peers and all that was going on around me... I wondered why was I here during this day and time, and how was God wanting to use what He's given me.... I remembered the message about choice that He'd been using me to speak out to others on, and I wanted to put it into a format that was undeniable... I think that's what helped me to decide W A K E U P was necessary."

We are currently planning Sonya's 2009 promotional tour season, and we are accepting inquiries for potential performances, media spots (radio, TV, etc) and interviews. If you know of an event in which you would like to see Sonya participate, or if you are an event coordinator or promoter and you would like to have Sonya be a part of your production, please drop us a line.
